What this game really needs is multiplayer.

I completely agree with you. Although that’d require rewriting a good part of the game engine. As things are standing now, I don’t have enough time to dedicate to the task. But yeah, maybe I’ll get back to it sometime in the future.

You have a very interesting game there and it looks very cool. But about multi player, perhaps a Counterclockwise Tournament?

    Awesome game.
Thinking of multiplayer - it would be simple to implement this game as UT2k4 mod, imho. And there is some chance that i’ll fall into this coding soon.

Any chance that a version with lower system requirements will be made? I know most PCs today can meet these, but my computer is older than most PCs (and unlikely to be replaced or upgraded anytime soon).

excellent game! I also hope to see a multiplayer version. I would PAY for a multiplayer version.

You should seriously consider pitching a this to Microsoft for Xbox live arcade. I think it has potential to be a hit.

I’ve seen Cubes. It’s rather nice. Although I’d love they include the exact ccw control scheme :)

    Hi,
Have you considered bringing this open source? I’ve playing and coding in the game Armagetron Advanced, a tron-based game with 2d gameplay and 3d graphics, been around for a while. http://armagetronad.net/ The game is based upon the movie Tron, which Knots was also based on! :} I would love to see you bring this open source and I’m sure the developing community of Armagetron would get involved. I know I would. I think we could help out with porting the game to linux systems and to mac osx (my system, ftw) in addition multiplayer is a huge aspect of Armagetron and we have experience with network play. Please consider. Thanks, Concord

This game is one of the “Perfect” remake I’ve ever play. I really love “Trick Performing” part which make the game really unique. Performing cool tricks while cut off an enemy with boosted speed is really fun.

I’m quite disagree in adding multiplayer since the “Tricks” part may be removed (which I think is the best feature of this game) you may need to make multiplayer part really “Different” from single player which I think is a kind of fuzzy work. Cube did that already, if you are going to do it you should make it more advanced.

If you are going to update this game once more, it should be nice to add “Replay” feature. So, you can show of your cool tricks and nice ways to quickly advance the stages. Time Attack is also possible.

The gameplay value is phenomenal. I can sit on this game for hours -easily.
I was wondering how difficult it is to get a mac version going? I don’t know what is involved in coding, and how difficult a task that might be, but if it isn’t too much work I would request it.
Thanks for all the work you have done thus far, and congrats on doing such a good job.
