I really admire ccw. All… the gameplay (tho it was a remake), sounds, graphics and the ui design is awesome. Now I just wonder if you would release it’s source code. :P Or release a modable version of it? I just think it has a lot of potential and I would want to see played by others too. :D
Whatever happened to that snazzy Deathchase 3D remake that you started work on a year ago? Did it become UFO Deathchase? I hope not, because those 3D vector graphics were awesome.
Hey, what’s up with Ablation X?
Can you already give a release date?
I really love CCW and so I’m looking forwad to Ablation X!
The preview video on YouTube is just amazing!!!
Hi Nenad,
I’m italian fan of your games!
I’m very enthusiastic of your game Rescue: The Beagles, it is very funny and challenge and your idea of world ranking in a click in your website is wonderful.
I ask you a question that I hope you reply me on my email:
At the end of each level, other then the points of left item, sometimes, appears another bonus that i don’t know what it is: “HEAT FLOW”, “DEFIANCE FLOW” and “SKYLINE FLOW”. What are they? How many are them? When is it activated?
Thank you for all,
Bye
Valerio
P.S.: What the changes will be in the non-beta version? :-)
Hi Nenad! I have been checking out your game Rescue: The Beagles. You wrote in the readme that you wanted some feedback, so here it is:
Despite it being just a bit to hard in the beginning I like the game. The bakgrounds are beautifully simple and works nicely with the pixel art, and the controls are fast and sensitive. I actually never got frustrated over the controls, something really unusual in indie-games.
This is what I think you could improve:
It’s too hard in the beginning! You don’t want people to give up in the first level!
You have a lot of elements in the game, like ropes, parachutes, moving dogs, hurt dogs and so on, creating a really complex gameplay. Instead of throwing them all onto the player in the first level you could present them one by one during the first couple of levels, letting the player get used to the basics before being forced to think of the complicated elements.
You absolutely should create a co-op mode, so that two friends can play at the same keyboard, one as Nicole and one as Edwin!
Hey, Nenad, I couldn’t find an email for you, so I wanted to leave a comment and let you know that we featured Rescue: The Beagles as our Free Indy of the Week on our show, Bytejacker. The episode is here:
I’m representing Ukrainian computer magazines “Domashny PK” (PC for
Home) and “Gameplay”. I would like to ask your permission to put
Rescue: The Beagles Game on magazines’ cover disks. Such form of our
cooperation, undoubtedly, would benefit each of us.
In Ukraine “Domashny PK” magazine is the first and only
consumer-oriented monthly publication, covering all topics concerning
home computing - hardware, Internet, multimedia, edutainment, computer
and console games, various digital gadgets and so on. “Gameplay”
magazine is interesting for all those people, who like computer and
video games. In other words, both magazines are oriented to mass
audience. And ITC Publishing House, Ltd is the leading Ukrainian
publishing house specialized on IT-publications.
Both magazines are equipped with cover-mount disks containing demos,
patches, drivers, shareware and freeware etc. The circulation of
“Domashny PK” magazine is 45 000 copies monthly, independent
researches estimate its audience as approximately 150 000 readers.
Circulation of the “Gameplay” magazine is about 25 000 copies.
If You don’t mind to give us permission for distribution Your product,
let us know, we’ll email You an agreement for distribution.
Hi there! You should really have your email somewhere on the site where I can find it. Usually it goes under “about”, alas, here i post.
Rescue: the beagles is awesome! It has potential to be even better, so here are a couple suggestions. One, the difficulty is to easy. Sure in the beginning it’s ok, but I currently have 400,000 and it gets boresome to play for that long a time since I die more often from dumb mistakes than playing the wrong way. This means that the game should get harder more quick. But keep the extralives how they are, it really makes it worth while knowing that you can always get back on top once again. Maybe a new enemy for the full version?
There are two bugs, which I cannot specify more than this: sometimes when I shoot (right after “climbing”) there is a sound but no shot. I do not know if my owl count does anything at this specific moment. The other bug is that sometimes when I go downward-left I press down and nothing happens.
Let us all hope for a better version for both beginners and the advanced players! I believe in you. ^^
Oh my jesus. I used to just sit at the computer and play minesweeper for hours… now Rescue the Beagles has taken that spot. You’re the man (not the corporate ‘man’, but the awesome kind). Keep doin’ what you do.

Hopefully you’ll get a chance to check it out. I loved the game. It’s been the one I’ve played the most obsessively over the last couple weeks.
Thanks!
